Born and raised in Mexico City, Vicente is a business man and entrepreneur, CPA by profession and chef by heart, since he was young he stated to get involved in the industry by opening taquerias in Mexico City until he got an opportunity to move to LA for his job as an accountant, Vicente left everything behind. Realizing there were no good Mexican food offerings in LA, Vicente decided to open the first Frida Restaurant in Beverly Hills where everything started. One year later The Frimex Group was born and since Vicente has worked in growing this enterprise to what it is today, a fully incorporated hospitality group, nationally and internationally acclaimed.

Clem, was the former CFO of Chivas USA managing the general administration, finance and accounting. Mr. Gatmaitan has over 20 years of business experience, having held executive and leadership positions in general management, business operations and finance. He has worked extensively in the film and entertainment industry. He is a Berkeley Executive Leadership Alumnus (2009) from the Center for Executive Education at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. MSBA in Finance and Accounting from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California in 1993 and an MBA in Finance and General Management from the Whitman School of Management, Syracuse
University in 1987.

Corporate Chef

Orlando is one of the oldest Frimex collaborators and one of its key employees. Back in his hometown of Mexico City, Orlando worked as a chef for one of the most renowned Mexican restaurant chains “La Valentina”. His first job in LA was Frida Restaurant in Beverly Hills as a cook and grew to executive chef. Since then he has stayed for more than 12 years, helping Vicente to create delicious dishes, bringing ideas and improving every part of the menu.

Ricardo comes from a hotel and restaurant owner family being involved in the business, since he was very young, he found his passion in the hospitality industry. He has a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland and CESSA University in Mexico.

Melea Morris is a new addition to the Frimex family, having joined the team in 2018. Along with her strong work ethic, attention to detail, outgoing personality and multitasking ability, Melea brings with her over 20 years of experience in the restaurant / hospitality industry where she has held positions ranging from Events Manager to General Manager and then CEO of one of the top 100 grossing independently owned restaurants in the United States. She now implements the skills and knowledge amassed during her career in her role as District Operations Manager for the Frimex Hospitality Group.

My Name is Juan Padilla and I love the passion that you can only find working in the kitchen. As a child it was my dream to become a Chef that would travel the world. I started my venture as an assistant chef at Vigiuccis Italian restaurant, I took a bigger role as the KM at Sofitel and after many years growing as a chef an opportunity to take a bigger role District Kitchen manager opened up at Frida Mexican Cuisine. It's been 12 years since I started my path at Frida Mexican Cuisine and only time will tell where this path might take me, Maybe a Frida restaurant will open in Europe and I can finally fulfill my dream of traveling the world!

Hincent graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a bachelor degree in Accountancy. As a member of the Accounting Society in CSUF, he got exposure to the public accounting industry with a wide range of hands-on experience about different areas of accounting. After graduation, he spent one year in a local public accounting office, handling various accounting tasks as well as getting a more in-depth understanding about different businesses. He joined the Corporate Team in 2017 and hope to contribute the knowledge and experience to the growth of the company.

Alejandra has earned her CDA and worked in a private children care center for 4 years. Then she worked as an Administrative Assistant in a construction company for 4 years before joining the Frimex family in 2018. Alejandra is new to the restaurant business but is eager to learn and contribute in the best way possible.

Griselda, has been in the customer service and hospitality industry for over 5 years and 4 years in the Human Resources field. It was there that she found her passion for working with people and being able to aid them. She is a California State University Alumni with a Sociology B.A. While studying full time and working full time as well, she acquired hands on experience in working with large corporations and executing innovative concepts for success. Enthusiastic about being part of Frimex Group, she looks forward to contributing to the company’s growth and expanding her professional career.

Since he was young he knew he wanted to work as a chef for a big corporation. He started at Dazzle and Events international as a prep cook, then continued with Patina Group in the Music center. His journey in the restaurant industry took him to Wonton group where he held many titles and after 8 years reached to Regional Manager. He then decided to start a new venture with Frimex to contribute with his extensive knowledge and experience and again try to reach a high position with such a great company in which he believes is going to reach very high levels of success.

Born in the state of Oaxaca Mexico I have come to this country at the age of 20 years, in 2003 Frida was my first job in the restaurant industry and I started as a dishwasher. I had the experience of working in each of the restaurant of Frida (Taco Libre, West Pavilions, Melrose, Beverly Hills, and Torrance). With all that experience I was able to move up to being lead chef in the Torrance location.

Mayra worked in the hospitality business for almost 12 years. Started as a hostess in Pizzeria Uno Chicago bar and Grill 2005 in San Diego CA. She then later became an Assistant General Manager two years after. Was introduced to Frida Mexican Cuisine in 2008 when San Diego Location opened. Joined the team and started as a hostess, cocktail server and a few months later she was offered a manager position in the Glendale location in 2009. She helped, with Frida Westwood opening in 2011 and was eventually relocated to his first store: Frida Beverly Hills in 2014. Enjoy interacting with guests ensuring they are having an amazing dining experience; while motivating and supervising her staff.

Rigo Vazquez is a passionate, driven and has more than a decade of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, he knows the key to success is to approach every day with an open mind and positive attitude. Rigo, a native of southern-central city in Mexico, began his career in his hometown of Puebla, city that is well known for the "Mole". Rigo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Administration from Buap, one of the most recognized public universities in Mexico. Rigo accepted an internship with Walt Disney World where he learned various aspects of the business, excellent leadership and customer skills. Rigo joined Frida Mexican Cuisine, Westwood Location in 2011 and quickly moved up the ranks within the service team, ascending to the role of General Manager 5 years ago. Now, Rigo is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and, above all, ensuring the quality of guest experiences in our new venue Sherman Oaks.
